Leza is very focused and determined in her work. She is serious and has a steady mind. In her rise to the top of the marines, she has poured in a lot of work, but the real boost that got her up there was a the Devil Fruit she ate, which turned out to be the stuff of legends and even the greatest weakness of a big-name pirate that was storming the Grand Line at the time.
She grew more confident in her skills and she is certainly very much a feminist. She encourages the lade marines and even led a whole fleet of them before climbing up to Admiral. She is overall kind and assertive. Leza looked up to her role model Admiral Tiga and now stands side by side to her, the biggest 'girl power' in all of the Navy.

However she can become very defensive and is suspicious of sleazy looking men. She is quite beautiful and so gets a lot of love revelations, which she immediately rejects. Leza especially hates womanizers and men who think they are better that women or that they can make her life better by being there.

Leza was born to a loving family in South Blue. The island was famous for their precious silk and materials. Her parents were both tailors and they lived in a mansion.
Her days as a child were spent in playing, although Leza preferred to do more studying. She was among mostly boys of her age and older. Not many girls were born in the whole island. And she was quite the stunning little girl. With big locks of golden hair and light brown eyes, dazzling dresses that her parents hand-made.
She was the center of attention and even as a 10-year-old received many confessions of love by boys as old as 19. She loathed those, having to hear and decline them every day.

One day, when she was 14, her parents had arranged a marriage with a boy from a Sky Island that happened to have the most precious silks anyone has ever seen. Silks that even sparkled! However the boy was a real sleaze and upon meeting, Leza hated him. He was your typical spoiled rich kid, the only redeeming feature were his amazingly white wings, the sign of Skypeans. Although she was curious to learn of them, she begged her parents not to go through with the wedding.

Leza dreamed of being a teacher in the Marines. She loved justice and always admired them. But now was she to abandon all just so her parents could be world-renowned tailors and their island thrive? Of course, she would not put her needs first, but something about this wedding seemed to cruel. They would give her up for more money and fame.. almost like.. like pirates!

A few days before she was to travel to the Sky Island, Leza ran away from home. She was desperate but also heart-struck to have to leave her family. As if they were not what she thought them to be.
Leza immediately reached a Marine base and asked them to take her in. The base was led by Vice-Admiral Tiga who took pity on her crying face. Something between the two clicked.
Since then Leza has worked hard and climbed the ranks. Shortly after becoming a Lieutenant, Tige became Admiral, provoking even more admiration from the young girl, if that were possible. Leza promised to reach that rank and always have her role-model's back.

Years passed, but she did. Leza was given a strange golden-looking Devil Fruit by a captain under her command, who had found it while out in the Grand Line. She said the fruit reminded her of how pretty Leza is. With some reluctance of not being able to find what the fruit did in her books, Leza decided to eat it after all. Upon understanding and testing her powers, Leza was astonished to see that it was in fact a Mythical Zoan of epic proportions! The cost of this type of fruit was so big, it was never written anywhere! It could bring un-immeasurable wealth to one who sells it, even more than a Celestial Dragon family possesses! 

Then a connection was made, to a pirate whose power had quite similar capabilities. Leza was sent out to capture him, but after many confrontations, the pirate gave himself up. It was Damian Block, a pirate who back in the day was among the most powerful in the Grand Line.
Leza was immediately booted up to Admiral, able to stand on the same ground as her hero, even tho Block escaped Impel Down.
